VerifiedUV™ v2 365nM LED Exposure Plate
The standard 1/8” aluminum exposure plate is built with the density of grid that you order being either 3mm apart or 11mm apart. Please refer to the exposure time chart below to see exposure time differences. It is professionally built and wired with highest standard Dinkle terminal blocks mounted on Din Rails. The Mean Well Power Supply is sized much higher than required to insure long life. The system will be tuned so that there is no voltage drop at the LEDs and voltage is equalized across the entire grid. There will be a standard C13 power inlet attached and the wires easily removed by their spade connectors so you can incorporate the outlet into your box design. There is a Power Switch that is pre-wired connected with spade connectors so you can remove the wiring, place the switch on your box and re-attach. If you are plugging your unit into a GrayLab or similar type enlarger timer to control your exposures, the Power Switch can be used to power on the unit and power off the unit (as could the GrayLab timer), so let us know if you prefer we do not include it.
If you opt to purchase, we incorporate an Ian Leake LC5+ exposure calculator and UV sensor to the plate circuitry. We create a relay circuit to which the LC5+ is connected (by USB cable) and you can place the LC5+ unit at your choosing and run the included USB cable to the relay on the Din Rail of our circuit. The UV sensor is attached to the LC5+ by an included USB cable and you can place this on your exposing bed. The LC5+ will be integrated for the purpose of automatically turning on and off the LEDs. The power switch we include will only be able to turn off the LEDs. While it can power off the LEDs, the switch can not turn them on. That function is reserved for the LC5+. Let us know if you prefer we do not include the Power Switch.
If you opt to purchase, we incorporate a simple LCD display timer that you can attach to your design, it will have the function of automatically turning on and off the LEDs, and you will be able to set your exposure time in hours, minutes, seconds. There are four saved timed exposure settings that remain in memory and you can edit these. The timer will be used to control exposures by automatically turning on/off the system. The power switch we include will power on the timer and activate the circuitry. But it will not power on the LEDs. That remains the function of the timer. While it can power off the LEDs, the switch can not turn them on.
If you want us to incorporate fans into the circuit of the panel they will be pre-wired to a separate Power Supply with long leads of wire so that you can place them into your design. These are extremely high CFM units which are used to pull air in and push air out for the most efficient cooling of your system. They should be incorporated into your design above the plate rather than under the plate, as the most heat produced by our system is behind the LED (absorbed by the aluminum plate and passed above itself.) If you pay for the option of fans we include a pair of fans with the 16x18, two pairs with 19x23, 28x32, 29.8x40, and three pairs with the 36x48.

What's Included:
You are purchasing a ready to install 365nM UV exposing plate that has both an on/off switch and a standard C14 electrical inlet (you can use a standard computer cord). You can purchase the plate as either a 3mm spaced grid or an 11mm spaced grid. This is a plate that you need to insure fits your application and exposure box design. It does not include a timer or exposure calculator unless you purchase that option. It does not include fans unless you purchase that option.
Compatibility:
This unit is compatible with 115v or 230v and you should indicate to us which wiring you require. The USA uses 115v as its standard whereas most of the rest of the world embraces 230v. Performance is the same.
365nM UV wavelength is optimal for platinum / palladium, gum print, salt print, gold, carbon, cyanotype, most photopolymer plates used in relief / intaglio, and many other alternative processes.
The plate is rigid 1/8mm material with a 2" margin on each side which does not have any grid. You can safely mount this board on a ledge inside your design. There are four drilled holes, one at each corner in the case you intend to screw it in place.
