EasyFill is the ultimate ReUse inking system. Empty capsules (we call them My Capsules) are available for users who wish to reclaim ink from "empty" EPSON cartridges or fill them with their choice of ink or PiezoFlush. These can be used over and over again.
- For example, an 80ml EPSON 3800 or 3880 cartridge still contains 15ml or more usable ink when it reads "empty". This ink, otherwise slated for disposal, is free ink for the taking. This ink can be easily extracted and filled into EasyFill capsules. Using color management, users can print with EPSON pigment inks in their EPSON dye printers.
- Likewise, a defective EPSON cartridge can be repaired by emptying the contents and filling an empty capsule for use with the keys.
- My Capsules are also perfect for those who wish to experiment with inks in their EPSON desktop printers. They can be filled with any dye or pigment ink suitable for EPSON print heads. Some of the inks available are Piezography, PiezoFlush cleaning solutions, or ConeColor Pro pigment inks.
- If you have a PRO printer you will be throwing away tons of ink in "empty" carts that can easily be recycled into use in desktop models. The only caveat is that when you change to a different color space ink - you need to produce ICC printer profiles or make some kind of modification to your workflow. The Epson printer driver produces color with the expectation that the printer has the correct color space ink. InkThrift CL is the correct color space ink for Claria model printers. If you elect to use other inks - you need to provide yourself with ICC profiles or a new workflow to make the inks produce predictable results.
