Return Policies
Although we value you as our customer, we cannot accept returns on opened merchandise because you tried it and didn't like it or because you ordered the wrong thing and didn’t notice before you opened it. There are no returns on software. Please read the product information on our web site carefully and be sure you are ordering the product you want; check again before opening. Please contact us if you need help choosing a product. All import taxes and duties are your responsibility. We expect you to pay these duties and taxes if they are due at the time of delivery. If any duties and taxes are charged back to InkjetMall, we will charge these fees back to you through your credit card. Vermont PhotoInkjet will accept authorized returns on unopened merchandise for 15 days from receipt for a full refund on the merchandise only, less a 15% restocking fee. Returned merchandise must be in sale-able condition in its original packaging. Authorized returns must be received within 15 days of an RMA being issued and will not be accepted after that.
The customer must contact customer service at [email protected] to return the product and we issue an RMA number to the customer and we advise the customer as follows:
When returning your order to the address listed on the packing list, which came with the original shipment, please be sure to return all items that came with the order so that you will receive proper credit.
When shipping the order back to us via UPS, DHL or FedEx please be sure to obtain a tracking number and insure the package in case it is lost in transit! The tracking number will allow you trace the package in case it is lost and will permit you to file a claim with UPS, DHL or FedEx.
If you ship the order back to us via the Post Office, be sure to request Delivery Confirmation and insure the package.
The customer is responsible for the return shipping cost and the order Shipping and Handling is not refundable.
Defective Merchandise and Warranties Policy
Please read carefully as InkjetMall warranties products differently depending upon who is the manufacturer or and the type of product that is warranted. For your convenience we have separated these warranty policies by product category:
1) JonCone Studio Paper, ConeColor, Piezography, InkThrift, PiezoFlush, Refillable Cartridges
2) Chemistry
3) Chips, Chip Resetters, Decoder Boards, Brushes, Paper other than JonCone Studio Brand, and other Products not manufactured by InkjetMall
4) InkjetMall Ultra Premium Ink Cartridges
5) verifiedUV LED Products
6) UV Exposure Units and UV Vacuum Exposure Units
1) For JonCone Studio Paper, and for ConeColor, Piezography, InkThrift, and PiezoFlush inks that are used in refillable cartridges that have been purchased directly from InkjetMall, as well as the refillable cartridges themselves, which are defective in workmanship or material and for which you make a claim within thirty (30) days after receipt of the merchandise, we will elect to either replace the merchandise, or refund the purchase price. When making such a claim, you must submit both the original packing slip and the defective merchandise itself, unless these conditions are waived by us in writing. This paragraph constitutes our sole obligation as to the JonCone Studio papers, refillable cartridges, and ConeColor, Piezography, InkThrift, and PiezoFlush inks that are purchased and used in refillable cartridges purchased directly from InkjetMall, and you acknowledge that this paragraph sets forth your exclusive remedy for any breach of warranty or other duty related to the merchandise or quality thereof. Any refund for merchandise shall not include shipping and handling or replacement fees.
2) For any Chemistry purchased from InkjetMall that you believe is defective you must contact Customer Service within 30 days of receipt of the chemistry. Some items may require technical support to ascertain if you are using them correctly or if you are using them with incompatible products. A RMA will be issued to return the chemistry to a specific testing location. Chemistry must have at least 75% of its contents remaining. You can not use more than 25% of the chemistry and then make a claim for defects. If after testing the returned chemistry is found to be defective, it will be replaced in full volume to the original amount purchased. If it is not found to be defective you will be supplied with the test results and whatever chemistry remaining will be returned to you at your expense. This paragraph constitutes our sole obligation as to the chemistry purchased directly from InkjetMall, and you acknowledge that this paragraph sets forth your exclusive remedy for any breach of warranty or other duty related to the merchandise or quality thereof. Any refund for merchandise shall not include shipping and handling or replacement fees.
3) All merchandise not manufactured by InkjetMall such as chips, chip resetters, chip decoder boards, brushes, and paper is warranted by the manufacturer, not by Vermont PhotoInkjet. Returns are subject to approval by the manufacturer. This paragraph constitutes our sole obligation as to the merchandise purchased directly from InkjetMall that is not manufactured by InkjetMall, and you acknowledge that this paragraph sets forth your exclusive remedy for any breach of warranty or other duty related to this merchandise or quality thereof. Any refund for merchandise shall not include shipping and handling or replacement fees.
4) InkjetMall Ultra Premium Ink Cartridge products carry our most comprehensive Warranty because they are used in the same way as the OEM products and therefore carry a different warranty than our inks which are used in refillable cartridges. InkjetMall will provide warranty repair or replacement (at its sole discretion and approval) of any print head(s) or parts that fail as a direct result of InkjetMall Ultra Premium Ink Cartridge products provided for the period covering OEM manufacturer’s warranty coverage excluding consumable parts (Ex. Wipers / S-dampeners/ filters/pumps). Company or person requesting warranty repair shall contact InkjetMall for pre-authorization and selection of a qualified repair technician to service the equipment prior to performing service on the equipment. Failure to request pre-authorization for service repair and selection will result in denial of a warranty claim. Machines out of OEM warranty will also qualify for replacement of any print head(s)/ parts that fail as a direct result of InkjetMall Ultra Premium Ink Cartridge products, excluding consumable parts (Ex. Wipers/ S-dampers filters/pumps). Inkjetmall’s liability under this limited warranty is limited to (a) cost of replacement parts directly damaged by the use of InkjetMall Ultra Premium Ink Cartridge products, and (b) $500 in expenses directly associated with a technician’s labor in the replacement of damaged parts. The warranty period will be in effect as long as customer is using InkjetMall Ultra Premium Ink Cartridge products on an exclusive basis and adheres to normal maintenance requirements stated in the OEM Printers Users Manual. InkjetMall Ultra Premium Ink Cartridge products used in conjunction with any other inks other than the OEM inks will not be subject to this warranty statement. Inkjetmall will not be liable for labor or material costs associated with graphic production, graphic application, equipment downtime or any other consequential damages including loss of profits or potential business sales, arising out of a warranty claim. It is the users responsibility to secure the equipment and surrounding area to prevent damage from potential ink spills, or other damages arising from a warranty claim. Inkjetmall is not responsible for damages that may arise from ink spills outside of the printer or from improper care, maintenance or repair of equipment associated with normal operation. InkjetMall further warrants its InkjetMall Ultra Premium Ink Cartridge products to function as intended and in a normal fashion in its designated printer. Should a cartridge fail for any reason other than mishandling, misuse, abuse or negligence, InkjetMall will replace the cartridge with a new cartridge of like kind. Service calls that are conducted with the discovery that the service call was not an ink related one will be charged to the customer at current service policy rates. Should a call be performed by someone other than Inkjetmall’s designated service technician, then a local technician will be hired. Inkjetmall will cover expenses charged by the service technician up to $500. This paragraph constitutes our sole obligation as to the InkjetMall Ultra Premium Ink Cartridge products purchased directly from InkjetMall, and you acknowledge that this paragraph sets forth your exclusive remedy for any breach of warranty or other duty related to this merchandise or quality thereof. Any refund for merchandise shall not include shipping and handling or replacement fees.
5) verifiedUV™ LED strip reels that you purchase directly from InkjetMall are warrantied for a period of one year and only if used in conjunction with verifiedUV connectors. Our warranty policy does not cover any problem that is caused by conditions, malfunctions, or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship. InkjetMall will not warranty product that has been soldered unless the soldering has been performed by InkjetMall. It is advised that you test the material prior to permanently adhering the product as removal of the adhered verifiedUV strip lighting can damage the product. Our warranty excludes any use or installation of our products in environments or with components that exceed the specifications of the product, for example: exposure to humidity or water, over voltage or current, or high temperature environments. If you believe your merchandise was defectively manufactured, please call our Customer Service department. Some items may require technical support to ascertain if you are using them correctly or if you are using them with incompatible products. If it is determined that the merchandise is defective, you will be issued an RMA#. This paragraph constitutes our sole obligation as to the verifiedUV products purchased directly from InkjetMall, and you acknowledge that this paragraph sets forth your exclusive remedy for any breach of warranty or other duty related to this merchandise or quality thereof. Any refund for merchandise shall not include shipping and handling or replacement fees.
6) For UV Exposure Units, UV Vacuum Exposure Units, UV Exposure Plates, and Custom UV Exposure Units built and sold by InkjetMall that you purchase directly from InkjetMall are warrantied for one (1) year from the Date of Delivery. Our warranty policy does not cover any problem that is caused by conditions, malfunctions, or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship. (Please read our Freight Shipment policy immediately below this paragraph.) InkjetMall will not warranty product that has been modified unless the modification has been performed by InkjetMall. Our warranty excludes any use or installation of our products in environments or with components that exceed the specifications of the product, for example: exposure to water, over voltage or current, or high temperature environments. If you believe your merchandise was defectively manufactured, please call our Customer Service department. Some items may require technical support to ascertain if you are using them correctly or if you are using them with incompatible products. If it is determined that the merchandise is defective, you will be issued an RMA#. This paragraph constitutes our sole obligation as to the UV Exposure Units and UV Vacuum Exposure Units built and sold by InkjetMall and purchased directly from InkjetMall, and you acknowledge that this paragraph sets forth your exclusive remedy for any breach of warranty or other duty related to this merchandise or quality thereof. Any refund for merchandise shall not include shipping and handling or replacement fees.
Freight Shipment Policy for UV Exposure Units, UV Vacuum Exposure Units, UV Exposure Plates, and Custom UV Exposure Units built and sold by InkjetMall. We take great care to pack your Exposure System well so it will arrive in good condition. If crated, we place both a Shock Warning and a Tip n’ Tell device on the crate which will indicate rough handling. We even receive a signed bill of lading from the freight company that they accepted your order from us in good condition. Your order is shipped to you insured. The next step is up to you. It is your responsibility to inspect the order to be sure it is in sound condition upon receipt and if you find damage you must report back to us within 25 days of the delivery in order to file a claim. There is no exception to this as per the terms and conditions of our insurance company.
InkjetMall's responsibility for shipments ends when the shipment is accepted by the carrier. The vast majority of our shipments are received without complications. If, however, your shipment is lost or arrives damaged it is the responsibility of the customer/consignee to make note of any loss or damage in order to file a claim. You must contact us within 25 days in order for a claim to be filed. Below are listed several shipping and receiving standards for you to use to insure proper service:

If either the Shock Warning or the Tip n’ Tell has been triggered, or if the shipment has the appearance that the contents inside may be damaged it is your responsibility to note “DAMAGE” or “Shipment appears damaged and will inspect later”, or you can insist that the package be opened in the presence of the driver. Any concealed damage should be noted immediately. To write on the delivery receipt "damage may be concealed will inspect later" is your best option when signing for your delivery.
3. Carrier Trucks are responsible for "tailgate deliveries" meaning that the driver is obligated only to bring the shipment to the end of the truck. At this point it is the responsibility of the consignee to unload it. If you require assistance with unloading, please make prior arrangements. Lift gate, hand unload, inside delivery and residential delivery are often available for an additional price. Tell us your special requirements at the time you place your order and we will either forward your requests to the freight company or provide you with their contact information so that you can make these arrangements to your satisfaction. We recommend you make the contact so that you are certain your requests have been granted.

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED IN THIS AGREEMENT, WE MAKE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, OR ARISING BY CUSTOM OR TRADE USAGE AND, SPECIFICALLY, MAKE NO WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND ANY WARRANTIES, CONDITIONS, REPRESENTATIONS, INDEMNITIES AND GUARANTEES WITH RESPECT TO THE MERCHANDISE ARE HEREBY SUPERSEDED, EXCLUDED AND DISCLAIMED. THE EXPRESS WARRANTY CONTAINED IN PARAGRAPH 1 HEREIN CONSTITUTES THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY MADE BY US AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES. IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES OR LOST PROFITS, EVEN IF WE WERE ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF THE SAME IN ADVANCE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY IN ANY EVENT IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU.
Return Procedures
• Vermont PhotoInkjet will only accept authorized returns.
• All returns must have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
• RMA numbers are only available through Customer Service.
• Please call 888-426-6323 or (802) 487-0800 to receive an RMA number.
• No returns will be accepted without an RMA# on the box or label.
• Vermont PhotoInkjet will refund the full amount of the merchandise less a 15% restocking fee on unopened, sealed merchandise only, returned within 15 days of receipt.
• Shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer.
• No credit will be given until the merchandise has been returned.
• Credits will be processed within 7-10 business days from date of receipt.
• Returns must be made to the address given by your support representative.
