Hey photography lovers! Come see our amazing new monochrome Piezography Pro ink system this weekend at the Society for Photographic Education's 2017 conference in Orlando Florida. We are excited to show these prints made with ourincredible new carbon ink invented in 2016 and produced in small batches at our Vermontfacility.

COME SEE THE DARKEST MATTE BLACK INK ON EARTH: 100% CARBON, ULTRA HD-MK

We worked hard in 2016 and released the world's darkest Matte Black ink for both Piezography and ConeColor: Ultra HD-MK. This ink is so dark it makes matte prints look like a gloss prints without the annoying reflections. We think that this exclusive ink finally brings printing to a whole new historic level. We're excited to show this ink to the public for the first timeever! We are bringing sample prints as well as printed black swatches to give away that will help you to compare and contrast this inks performance. Ultra HD-MK ink is significantly darker than any leading Matte Black carbon ink on the market today. Because we are a small and nimble company, we can manufacture this ink from much more expensive materials than larger and less art-oriented competitors. This is probably the most expensive matte black ink ever produced! But we think it's very important to continue leading the way in quality and excellence for artists. This ink is backwards compatible with every Epson inkjet printer and is also available for both ConeColor and Piezography ink sets as a drop-in replacement to the original Matte Black inks available for those products.
COME SEE THE LEADING DIGITAL NEGATIVE SYSTEM FOR HISTORICAL PROCESS: PIEZODN

In early 2016 we invented a new way to make digital negatives: PiezoDN. This new system enables full tonal control at a level of fidelity never-before realized with digital negatives. For the first time ever, a direct monitor-to-print match can be made for any historical process be it Platinum/Palladium, Cyanotype, Ziatype, Salted, Silver, or anything else. We're bringing some 16x20 prints by Jon Cone printed with Platinum/Palladium on the legendary Magnani Revere paper with the PiezoDN digital negative system. We'll bring the negatives too!

TALK WITH US ABOUT WORKSHOPS AVAILABLE @ CONE EDITIONS PRESS
Cone Editions Press, founded and operated by Jon and Cathy Cone, was the first digital print lab on earth and is still going strong today.Early on, Jon and Cathy started teaching workshops because people needed to learn the experimental digital printmaking techniques they had invented. Much of the current photographic printmaking curriculum taught in schools today stems from those early groundbreaking workshops held in Vermont.

These workshops have expanded and now offer a full-fledged summer roster of immersive learning experiences conducted in a beautiful Vermont landscape with good food, great people and new technologies. We teach two kinds of workshops:PiezoDN Digital Negatives for Platinum and Palladium printing, andThe New Piezography Workshop with Piezography Pro and K7 ink.If you are interested in learning more about these workshops, stop by our booth and talk with Dana and Walker who actually teach at these events!
