The New Piezography Workshop - September 16-19, 2019
This course will take you from basics to mind blowing in four days. Absolutely everything you ever wanted to know about Piezography and Piezography Pro and quite a bit more. Learn directly at the Studio that invented Piezography from the instructors who continually design and update it!
Appropriate for both first-time and seasoned users of Piezography. You should have a basic working knowledge of either Photoshop or and Lightroom.
Fee: $1,500 Length: Four days Location: Cone Editions Press, Vermont. Includes: All material costs. Maximum attendees: 8
Limited to eight attendees. This workshop will concentrate on anything new with the Piezography workflow. We will use the new Piezography drivers for Piezography printing as well as the QuadTone RIP. We will feature the latest ink sets and any that are in development. Same goes with the software. Attendees always get the latest version in progress (in addition to the release version).
Therefore, we'll be printing with both Piezography Pro inks, Piezography K7 inks and some new concoctions. Likewise, we will be working with established as well as experimental workflows.
Attendees must bring a laptop, but we provide professional grade large screen reference calibrator displays by Eizo and NEC. There is plenty of free print time, tons of one on one, and even time at the end for critiques. You should bring a series of images you wish to work with. All of the materials and fine art papers are included in the workshop costs. If you happen to have a portfolio, bring it with you. We would love to see and share.
